Thanks for putting the photo of Seal up. My 4 year old daughter Eden LOVES Seal’s song ‘Crazy’ and she asked me today if she could see him perform live, but DOH! we missed him in Melbourne in Nov. last year. We didn’t know he was touring in Melbourne. ‘Craz’y is one of my all time favourite songs too, even though I’m a rock singer !! : ) So much soul in his music.

Eden has watched the ‘Crazy’ video so many times on Youtube : ) She just said, “I hope that we can see him next time.” : )

On Seal’s DVD Live in Chicago -Soul Classics with David Foster, Seal made a comment saying words to the effect, ” How can a funny-looking English boy grow up to sing Soul classics?” I hope he made the statement in jest because Seal’s looks are, to me, very classic. I’m a black male in my late 50′s [57] who is very secure in my manhood, and many people say I’m handsome and that I could pass for somone in their late thirties or early forties. If it were possible to trade looks, I would take Seals look in a heartbeat and be very satisfied with my looks-I mean, come on, how many people can wear a shaved head and look good? Seal, your look is just fine-take it from a brother who is straight, almost 60, has the body of a thirty year old.
Who knows, I may get the chance to meet you and play some Bach on guitar for you.

PS: The stage lighting on the DVD Soul Classics was great. The live in Paris DVD was an excellent performance sonically, but the stage lighting was a little dim [No big complaint]

Thanks for making contact and for the great comments.
The concert as you know was AWESOME. SEAL is a true showman and entertainer. He is a gentleman and song-man together.
It was worth every cent seeing SEAL in Perth and the atmosphere was electric!!
I hope we (the Australian public) are treated again to such a great experience in the near future.
All the best and long live all those “CRAZY” songs.

PS: I think I’ve listened to CRAZY many, MANY times….my favourite song ever!!!!

I recently saw my music idol in Melbourne at the Palais Theatre on the 13th November and then flew especially to Perth (4000 kms away) on the 20th November to enjoy SEAL again at Kings Park.
I was very lucky to have almost front row seats at the Melbourne concert and was even closer to the stage in Perth.
SEAL shook my hand 4 times at the Perth concert, leaning over to grab by hand and give me a solid handshake. Many other people around me could not believe he singled me out 4 times. That was a fantastic moment for me as I am a true lover of SEAL’s songs and music style. I’ve been waiting over 20 years for that moment.
Thanks again SEAL for the fantastic concerts in Melbourne and Perth.

I don’t think there was a dry eye at the Sydney State Theater on the 17th.It was Adoption Awareness week so Seal was joined by these beautiful children who had all been adopted successfully.I loved the fact that Seal highlighted how incredibly difficult and long the adoption process is here.Thanks Seal for having a heart as big as the moon and for a wonderful show xxxxxx

These pics are from the November 11th Sydney Concert. It was a brilliant concert! I went by myself but it was either that or don’t go at all (husband prefers cowboy music lol) My pics aren’t as close as a lot of the above but I had a great view non the less. Enjoyed his chatter with the crowd also, he’s a funny guy! My fav song is Kiss from a Rose so was surprised to hear it nearly didnt make it to a record. I agree also Michael Paynter as opening act was fantastic. He will go far. Im enjoying seeing all the other fan photos too!

Hope Seal comes back again soon!!

I flew all the way from New Plymouth, NZ to see SEAL in Melbourne and I’m so pleased I did. What a concert, what a performer, what a man! After 20 year’s he still has the passion for his songs which was evident at the concert. Thank you Seal for coming downunder. It’s a concert/weekend I’ll never forget.

What a sensational Sydney concert. Seal is a true superstar and when he got everyone involved the show took on a new dimension. The fact that we were allowed to get so close and take photos was simply magic. The State Theater was the perfect venue and made the whole show more intimate. Standout songs were Crazy and My Vision. One of the best concerts I’ve ever been to … and I’ve seen a few.

Seal – you are a man of brilliance and sophistication. A startling show and a performance that was truly unforgettable!! My sister’s & I loved the show. 11 November 2009 – STATE THEATRE SYDNEY
A loooong overdue and Fantastic concert!! Took my radiant wife along with me who is 6 months pregnant and she absolutely loved it. Fan photos are great – well done people. Unfortunately, my photo contribution will not be a ‘tight’ as we were on the front row of the balcony. Awesome seats nonetheless! State theatre is a wonderful venue no matter where you sit.
