The Beginning.

How are you all first of all? Well, after what has felt like a grueling however, enjoyable promo tour, we are about to hit the road. I must say that this is something we’ve all been really looking forward to. There will me a mixture of old music AND new music from the ‘Soul’ album.

Just checking in from Milan to say hi and to also apologize for the long gap in between posts.
I’ve been busy ass all hell promoting ‘SOUL’ and there just hasn’t been much time to do anything else other than my main priorities of being a husband and father.  I will post another report and full updates soon.

Loved it here. This time it was really different. We had such a great experience playing for the French who really showed their appreciation for the effort we put into this ‘SOUL’ concept.

Many of you I see are still asking questions about ‘Togetherland’.  I feel that it’s important for me to once again explain why I never released it.  In short …. it’s crap!  Yes it has one or two redeeming qualities to it but as an example of my works as an artist, it just isn’t up to it.  I will never release it and in fact, I no longer have any copies of it in my immediate possession so it would be difficult for me to actually post it anyway.  It is no longer relevant and releasing it would only serve to dissolve the path that I’m on at the moment.  There are many new and exciting projects on the horizon like for example, the follow up to ‘SYSTEM’.  This will be what can best be described as ‘Dance, Romance’.  It will feature a heavy Brazilian influence and I promise that it will not disappoint. Went to the Academy today and met the students.  They were all really enthusiastic which is great to see.  Had a great chat with them and reflected on how it was for me when I first started out, I hope this gave them some insight on what to expect.

I’m in London now having just caught the train in from Paris.  It’s the day that the world begins to change … for the greater good.  It’s the day when the conscious, the collective, the present and the future are finally going to be heard.  Today they will cease the moment, ‘carpe diem’.  Today they will reclaim the greatness that was and still is (by a thin thread), America.  In doing that they will send a resounding message around the world who is waiting with baited breath, eager to find out if the self proclaimed leader of the free world really has turned a new page, whether it’s people have looked long and hard into the mirror, tonight we will find out whether the tempest has become the cool calm and compassionate. Today we will find out with whether it still throws around the five letter word as though it were a fashion item, or if they really are, just maybe this time …..ready to make change.
