I just got “Commitment” and I listened to it for many hours. I was glad to see that
you retained your “signature” sound from your earlier masterpieces. I have been
alive for 59 years now and HAVE listened to many recording artists, but you are
by far the most inspirational to me. When “Human Being” came out, I was
vacationing in Washington, D.C. in November, 1998 and I made a special trip
to a mall there so I could bring it back to my hotel room to listen to it on my
laptop. I was mesmerized by all of the orchestrations and I believe that that album
set the underlying sound of your musical persona. In other words, you are awesome.
