Yeah – so excited – have just purchased tickets for Melbourne show – coming from NZ especially to see Seal. Has been a dream for years to see one of my favourite singers live in concert – turning the big 40 in November so can’t believe the coincidence!!!! Just simply can’t wait!!!!
You will love him! Saw him last in Brighton in 2004 and finally seeing him again next Satruday in Oxford – CAN’T WAIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m confused as I’ve been unable to access the Fan Club pre-sale – has anyone else been successful?
Ticketmaster is advertising its own pre-sale as follows:
Start: Thu 04/06/09, 12:00
End: Fri 05/06/09, 17:00
But there doesn’t appear to be any way to put in the password given above that I can see right now. I checked the Palais website too and I can’t even see Seal’s show listed yet (though I note that Billy Ocean is playing there Friday night…ahem).
Perhaps it’s all being caused by the fact that Seal’s show is scheduled for Friday the 13th?

It would appear Ticketmaster have pushed back the pre-sale a day.
I would go by the information listed on their site – 04/06/09 @ 12:00pm.
The password field should appear once the pre-sale has begun.

I went over to Aus to work for a couple of months and had the pleasure of seeing INXS supported by Simple Minds at the Palais. It’s a very traditional theatre (reminds me of Shepherds Bush Empire (i.e. old, worn out but much loved)). A word of warning though. It gets very hot in there, so much so that the INXS guitarist collapsed on stage!
