FANTASTIC NEWS!!!!
With the greatest respect though, seeing as this is the first time Seal has been down under can we request that the set list is choc full of his original stuff rather than songs from the latest Album which, let’s be honest, is more of a diversion than anything else. Seal’s real soul is in the music he has written, not in cover versions of classics. I would be moved to hear songs that have meant so much to me like “State of Grace”, “Loneliest Star”, “Human Beings”, “Prayer For The Dying” and the sublime “Love Still Remains” These songs have gotten me through some personally tough times and I’m really hoping to hear some of them.
Regardless of what ends up being on the set list it will be a thrill to see him in person. Thanks for including us Seal.
Regards
Martin
Everyone’s right, it is fantastic news…
But please, can Seal tour managers explain why the tickets are sooooooo expensive compared to Uk venues?
40quid in UK for best spot…
$160 at the Arts Centre in Melbourne – thats almost double…
We love Seal – and have all his stuff (even Seal does karioke!) – DVD’s included – but do they realise its massively tough times, even in Aus?
We went to see The Who – legends in their own lifetime, in the mosh pit, and spent the whole day at the F1 – for only 20quid more than this!
There is only one place to be – and thats near the front, so we can get up an dance (aus concerts renowned for people sitting down until right near the end! (our experience sorry!)
but for 5 of us to go, thats $800….
Ouch
I feel that Seal’s real soul is within, regardless to what he sings. He puts his whole self into his singing and that is what makes him a great singer and performer. Seal, keep singing R&B as well as your former songs. I love to hear you sing anything. My best to you in all your travels……………..Love you, Josephine
Hi Seal! I’m your loyal fan from Russia! Please, come to our country! We’ll be so happy!
We’ve been waiting for you!
All the best,
Pete.
You are beautiful beyond words.
YES YES YES!!!! i’ll settle for whatever he decides, but if i hat to choose it would be the entire fisrt album. Good on ya Seal – i’ll see you at Hammer Hall, Melbourne!
OMIGOD!!!!! I am screaming with delight, jumping up and down on furniture, My kids think I am mad. SEAL is coming downunder……….. How long have I waited for this. Thank you thank you thank you. I can go to every concert for the price of a one way ticket to London or New York, which I thought would be my only option. I can’t wait to see you live.
Hi Seal, I have been a big fan of yours for years. I saw you Wed. night your last tour spot in Los Angeles. You were great. I felt like I had died and gone to heaven. You have an amazing voice. I would love to meet you one day.

godpac!!!
heh i wish you the best and dont forget to live your life, love ya!
I’m so excited. I’ve said I’d move heaven and earth to see Seal live if he ever got close to New Zealand. Australia is the next best thing. However, I’m sure all of Seal’s NZ fans would love it if he could cross the ditch to Auckland (just a 3 hour flight from Aussie), but what the heck … Seal is coming down under – finally!
Thanks for deciding to come to Australia!!!
I agree with previous posts and would love to hear original songs along with the ocassional Soul song as you haven’t been to Australia before.
I just read that you and Heidi are expecting a girl. OH man….that is so wonderful. Keep on being the best man, husband, dad, musician, singer, and song writer that you can be. I’m rallying for you all the way here in Bermuda. I haven’t forgetten the time when you came to perform here for the Music Festival. It was wicked. You gotta come back again man. Anyway take it easy. Love the new album.
KHADIJO from Bermuda
Seal, Thanks for arranging to come to Australia.
I know you’ll play your biggest hits but it would be great if you could perform these too!

We are so excited that Seal is FINALLY coming to Australia – first time since a brief promo visit in 1991.
Please please please play extensively from the back catalogue and not just the last two albums as all the fans in Australia have been waiting so long to hear all those songs live at last!
counting down to November!
Come to Adelaide!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow!! One word describes it all….AMAZING!! AMAZING as always everywhere he goes!!
I do believe now it holds true that everything is bigger and better in Texas after Seal performed here on April 29th the crowd was really BLOWN AWAY!!

Seal – I’ve been waiting for you too… everyone says you’re Amazing, now you’ll be here. I just hope this will be just your first visit, I hope you bring the whole family and enjoy a wonderful holiday together whilst you’re here. Ticket prices are a little steep but I’ll be there, in Brisbane at least.
I’m still loving the last album, so brilliant and I certainly hope to hear some of those tracks. All the very BEST to you for a safe and happy tour, filled with beautiful experiences, fabulous people and unforgettable times. Cheers man.
i’ve heard there are great electronic and computer musicians in australia; this is a great opportunity to gather them all for support in either broadcasting or documenting this incredible event. it will be amazing for us on the other hemisphere to join you live on-line or view this amazing show when polished later on.
Dear Seal,
I’ve been following your career over the years and am both amazed as well as impressed about your personal achievement and endeavours.
Now I have a question (which, of xourse, you don’t have to answer but which would interest me very much nonetheless): What made you change your name to Seal ( = das Siegel)?
Thanks in advance and lotsa love,
Susannn
As an earlier comment I made didn’t seem to get through, I’ll ask here; is there any chance of an Adelaide show being added at some point? And if not, is there a reason for it?
-E
Following up what I said earlier; I received a short and rather curt response from the promoters (DCE) a short time ago, telling me that an Adelaide show isn’t possible “due to unresolvable logistical issues” (their words, not mine). Worst luck.
So I’d better wipe the egg off my face now.
-E
Four days and counting till you guys kick off Down Under. Glad to see you’ve finally made it all this time. Enjoy (and don’t forget to include all YOUR classics as well that we’ve been listening to for nearly two decades in the set list!)
See you at Hamer Hall Thursday night.
PS You’ll be pleased to know that I surprised my bride a few months ago by singing “Love’s Divine” at our reception. She’s now a huge Seal fan, tells everyone that “Love’s Divine” is her new favourite song, has been listening to all your albums and is very excited about seeing you in a few days time. Ha ha!
