    SEAL,

My wife (Angie)and I went to your concert in Columbia, MD right outside DC City! I know you had to be cold up there on that stage but the show was hott kid! No, the show was flaming……A TRULY AMAZING PERFORMANCE! You should make “AMAZING” your theme song or the theme for your next tour……can’t wait until you get back to the DC area or the East Coast in general. If you are ever in DC, please look us up! Go heat up the rest of AMERICA…….Hotep! J² the Cheetah!

I’ve been listening ever since your music was the bed for “Groove Requiem” by the famous director Greg Stump back in 1991. Even last week as I skied thru 30″ of fresh pow at ALTA, UT, I was using your music to keep me in the groove. I still like you even though you snowboard.

Was struck deaf dumb and blind in love in Philly last Wednesday night. Who makes a house rock so bad that nobody sits down for two hours? SEAL! It doesn’t get ANY better. What a beautiful man you are, inside and out. oxox

  4. Sedika says:

Good luck on your tour. I’m super excited cause I got tickets to see you at Radio City this Thursday. I can’t wait. I would love to give you a drawing, but I’ve been super crazy with school work so I didn’t make one yet. and also I wouldn’t even know how to get it to you. But I promise that I will at some point. Thanks for your time.

    Hi Donna-

I was at the AC show and remember you giving, as Seal stated, the plant (w/the pot)..lol… My friend took a lot of shots & I will tell her to look through them. I hope we have one for you. If not, you were seen & you still have the moment for the rest of your life ;0 We were the 2 ladies jamming most of the time everyone else wasn’t…lol…
    Be well,
    Tara

  8. Pam says:

    Seal,

Saw you with a good friend at Borgat in Atlantic City all I can say is you are truly AMAZING!!! I have been a fan of you and your music for a very long time, but nothing compares to your live show – I was truly awestruck! Being someone who enjoys music tremdously, it is so awesome watching how you truly feel every single beat of the music! You give me goosebumps! My special favorites are Crazy, of course, and my 2nd new favorite is Right Life and of course the songs from Soul were mesmerizing! I really look forward to the next time you come back to the NY/NJ area again – I will be there once again!

    Love, laughter, harmony & happiness,
    Pam

  9. Donna D says:

    Hi all!
At the PA show on 4/8, I handed SEAL a package while he was on stage, then at the NJ 5/11 I handed SEAL a lilly plant.

If anyone has a photo of either or both encounters, I would love to see a posting of the photos. I “had a moment” but no photo to show for it!

Thanks SEAL friends!!! :) Donna D
    DDanner@verizon.net

    • Jan says:

I saw you give him that package! Sadly no camera with me as the Tower had posted it was forbidden. (NOT!) I was also kicking myself for not bringing the rose I intended to bring. How about the lucky girl that got to dance with him onstage?! The man couldn’t be more charming if he tried.

  10. -AC says:

So looking forward to seeing you this Sunday in St. Petersburg!

  11. N says:

Are you only singing songs from the Soul album?

  12. Francesca says:

I have been an admirer of your work for many years…last night in Boston you reminded me that it’s been 20 of them! I knew I would enjoy your concert but I wasn’t expecting to be blown away like I was. You are an incredible performer; your energy is contagious, and the dull, drab interior of Boston’s old Orpheum Theater got a much needed face lift from the electrical charge surging through the space. I went to sleep singing your songs in my head and woke up this morning doing the same thing. Thank you for an uplifting, SOUL charging experience!

  13. Alana says:

Seal my best friend and I saw you in concert in Chicago at the Opera House. I truy enjoyed your music in the past and thought you were a great artist but after seeing you in concert, you are AMAZING. You mesmerized me as well as my friend. You displayed such a wonderful disposition and personality. You must be a truly wonderful person and it shows once seeing you live.
U gave me chills during many of your songs. I know you performed long and hard for about 2 hours but I could have listen for many hours more.
I hope to be able to see you again and this next time I will definitely get closer seats.
Thank your for your performance, for showing such gratitude and humbleness on stage. I wish such continued happiness for you and your family and may God truly bless all of you for you have blessed us. I would love to hear you sing a gospel song just one time. God bless you Seal.

Hi Seal…I am a big fan and I was at the Chicago show at the Civic Theatre, and I want you to know it was the best show I have ever seen (and I’ve seen many)!!
I swear, I could hear your voice inside of me. I must say, it was the best sounding show ever and the video was very interesting.
When you sang Mans World, it felt like I a was in my living room with bose speakers surrounding me.
The guitar player was awesome too. He had such a brilliant guitar tone.
I thoroughly enjoyed this show…your vocals were truly AMAZING!!
Thank you for having the best people around you to make you sound as good as you are…You’re the BEST!!

  16. Anne says:

    Hello,

I hope I am not intruding. I would love to ask Seal and Heidi how they conduct their vow renewals? I know this is very private and I am just seeking ideas, as I have been inspired by Seal and Heidi for having their vows renewed each year.

My husband and I are going to a very special place, a tropical island I’ve always dreamed of going to, in a few weeks to renew our vows…we’ve been married 12 years. But I just can’t find the words to say how much he means to me and would really appreciate any ideas as to what to say and how I can make this really meaningful yet simple.

Thank you in advance for replying.

    Sincerely,
    -A

    Darling Seal
Yesterday I took the train to come to Windsor to see your show. What was supposed to be the most romantic train ride ended up pretty sad because my husband did not come with me …I won’t get into details. But I was strong and decided my dream to see you in concert was utterly important to me no matter how low the valley seemed…and what a mountain I climbed…watching you LIVE inperson was like a DREAM, surreal. I even found myself dancing (after making sure the people behind me wouldn’t be upset)…until the man from the Windsor cesar place said we could NOT dance unless we went close stage. With my heart on my sleeve I sat down…even the old ladies felt sorry for me. I am not one to give ” a show” but it was just the natural flow of energy…anyway I ended up there like screeming teenager…and it was worth it. Tonight I am going again to see you at Massey hall. It would be such a miracle to even say hi after the show…but anyway if not just seeing you was one of the greatest experiences of my life…can not put into words…(me! speechless!)
VEry very grateful…you are a MAGICIAN…the effects were also spectacular, so beautiful, so exciting…just MASTERFUL…
    I just adore you…
Marie xxx (I gave my husband’s ticket to your show to the nice taxi man with the missing teeth…who drove me…and he said that evening didn’t feel real to him, I will do the same tonight)

Seal – Having followed your progress from those first tentative days – I became a fan! I knew talent when I saw it. What a voice, I bought that first album and was hooked, all the subsequent albums followed. For years I tried to see you live in the UK..no concerts..then out of the blue a friend phoned and said “Seals playing at Hammersmith!!” A flurry of activity to get tickets followed and we saw you..AWESOME!!! Whilst travelling to that concert in London a friend of mine who is a session musician (percussionist and backing singer) phoned and said you were playing at Ipswich the following night!! So the very next night we saw you there too…..you were truly magnificent. My teenagers have been weaned on your music and they saw you at Ipswich when they were that bit younger….you smiled and pointed at them whilst you were singing because they were up on their seats dancing and singing along with you..they knew evey word!!!! We will be at Hammersmith again, can’t wait! If you need a new band member consider Lily, she’s fabulous, ask Kylie or Robbie W. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

  20. Gabe says:

Just had to drop a note of appreciation for The Chicago show. You killed it and it was a thrill to watch the room evolve into pure kinetic energy. The sound was perfect for the venue. Congrats to “Naughty Juice” also… they knocked it out. My favorite was your rendition of ‘Here I Am’. Al Green would have been proud and my wife and I were definitley feeling it. It was a pleasure talking to you backstage after the show. Good luck w/ the rest of the tour… we’ll see you next time around.

Special note to Lukeman and Charlie… The dance you two shared was, as Seal said, truly love divine. While you two were dancing in your own world, the entire opera house felt your love, which was amplified by the richness and texture of Seal’s voice. Thanks to both of you for sharing the moment.

Hi Seal I have waited for years to see you in concert again. The only time ive seen you was in the Royal Court in Liverpool many moons ago! You have brought me through so many trying and unusual times! XJX

  22. Smoxalot420 says:

Any chance of adding a Seattle, Washington date? Or close by? We miss you lot here in the Pacific Northwest.

  23. Michael Spoors says:

I flew in to Chicago from Bowling Green, Kentucky to see this show with a great friend of mine Connie as she knows how much I love his music and she purchased these tickets for my 50th birthday. He was outstanding. We had 12th row tickets and I was able to get pictures from the front row behind the first 5 rows that I would call the orchestra section in most venues. I love your most recent Album of those great remakes; you have a great R&B sound.

  24. Karen says:

What a show here in Chicago, it was truly ‘AMAZING’. As fellow Brits living in Chicago who met 25 years ago we listened to you at the beginning of your career and continue to enjoy your music and talent now.
Have a fabulous Tour and visit us again soon.

WOW! Ive been lucky enough to see many great concerts in my life, and this was the third time I was fortunate enough to see yourself Seal and the band live, last night in Chicago. I can say without doubt last night was the best concert I have ever had the opportunity to attend. Being able to get up close to the stage and be right there next to you for the show is something we will never forget.

Seal you are amazing, and my wife and I cannot wait to see you again.

    All the best,
    Ken

The Civic Opera House in Chicago was a sick venue to play a show. Seal’s voice was the best I’ve ever heard it!!! The concert had a perfect mix of old and new songs…I stood the entire show and sang along to every word!!! Can’t wait for the next project!!!
    Peace,

I have been a bigtime Seal fan since “the beginning” and I am also an avid musician. Seal is one of my favorite artists for so many reasons. The timbre of his voice is one of a kind and he is both lyrically and musically unique and inspiring. There is no doubt that Seal is one of the all time greats and I look forward to many more albums to come. I’ve see Seal live too many times to count and I appreciate changing up the band and musicians alike, however I think it’s important to realize that a lot of true fans want to see the music “Performed” without overdoing the sequencing and recorded tracks. I know heavy production requires a few tricks, but for such a keyboard/synth based artist…having one guy try to play bass and keys left me wishing for more…I’d like to see Seal himself play the piano, the guitar more, and It kills to watch the bass player miss the most classic awesome licks from “FUTURE LOVE PARADISE”!!! Granted he’s an awesome musician of tremendously versatile talent, but for all the players the devil is in the little details…I’m sure a lot of huge fans know these little licks and nuiances…and want to see them done live :) Overall, the Chicago show was totally awesome! Civic Opera House is an incredible venue…I stood the whole show, singing along with every line!!! Rock ON!!!

  29. Donna says:

You and the band were AMAZING last night here in CHICAGO. Your music puts people in a great mood. Please come back soon. I wish you and your band a safe tour. All the best to you and your family.

  30. Lukeman and Charlie says:

    Seal,

AMAZING show last night in Chicago. Thanks for singing “Love’s Devine”. I danced with my wife as you sang. You’re truly the greatest performer I have ever seen! This will be the first song I wil play for my son when he’s born.

I sang and danced to every song you sang.

Much love and all the best to you and the band for the rest of the tour. See you soon.

    Lukeman and Charlie

  32. Lady RJ says:

Your concert at the Chicago Lyric Opera last night was truly AWESOME!!! You were correct in your statement that soul is a feeling not just a specific genre. I am a proud American and found your words enlightening regarding the 20 years you’ve experienced here as well as the relevance of the lyrics. Thank you for sharing your gift and the intimate spoken moments.

Love you can’t wait to see you again.

  33. Maurice says:

Personnally I prefer Seal’s compositions which give all aspects of this incredible and sensual talent! Thanks for making every morning and evening on my drive to and back to work so special…….

  37. Melanie says:

Sigh…. Coming down from the natural high of your performance last evening at the Orpheum Theater in Minneapolis. Fabulous! Not too many performer’s are aware of their purpose of being on stage, but you my dear are more then appreciative of your fans. You brought the house down. The power of your voice is of God’s gift; you do bring it to the utmost. May the rest of your tour be as wonderful. Keep on “keepin’ on!” Melanie
