It’s been a long time since we last spoke. Please understand that it isn’t through choice. The new single ‘Amazing’ is now available on ‘iTunes’ as a download. There are two versions, the ‘Thin White Duke’ edit is my personal fav and the one that I will be performing to in the future given the choice. The album drops Nov 13th and is called ‘SYSTEM’. There are new and exciting updates coming to the site so please bare with me. I’m interested to hear your comment on the single so please feel free to fire away.

Hey Seal!! Long time no chat! Saw the pics in People Mag…you guys looked fantastic. HK looks amazing as always. By the way..I LOVE HER JEWELRY!! I wear it and love it. I wanted to send early birthday love to the baby. I can’t believe it’s been a year already..this time next year..he’ll be planning your tour! Such a beautiful family. Still working at the hospital..only now, I’ve moved to the ER and Trauma…I’m lllllllllllllloooooovvvvvinnnn it! I’m such a trauma junkie. My family is doing well and we’re continually being blessed. Are you itchin’ to get on the snowboard? It’s that time of season you know! I’m excited about the new album and you know me, I’ll let ya know how I like the album (am I dating myself? ALBUM? I mean CD..gotta get with the program here!) Any plans for Vail or Monarch this year? Hopefully we should have a great winter. Well..just checking in my friend.. My recent trip to New York, Manhattan, was all thanks to YOU!!! I won a writing contest on MSN Denmark, where I had to write about my best music experience ever. I wrote about all my Seal concerts, especially the one back in 1992 when I tried to give you a rose and you just walked off!
And about that the concert in Vejle, Denmark, in 2005 when I met you before the show
and you were so sweet to dedicate a song to me!

Smooth as Seal
System is Amazing that is for sure. Today I called around to get the album and ended up driving 70 miles to get it . On the way back it was just a natural high listening to this long awaited album. If God bless me someday I will see him in concert.
On the way back I thought of creating a new axiom
“Smooth as Seal” and I think I will use that axiom to describe all cool things.

I picked up the album on November 14th – last copy in the store! I was really pumped to hear it, and it didn’t disappoint in any sense. I’m an avid fan of the dance/electro genre, and this satisifed that in every way. Incredible beats fronted by incredible, thoughful lyrics…

I wanted to let you know how much I am enjoying your new album. I was first introduced to your music in 1990 while living in Germany as an au pair. I was fortunate to meet you in person once after a concert in Berkeley, California in ‘94. You were very gracious to us, a small group of fans that waited outside to meet you. You signed my poster and gave me a hug. It was a major highlight for me in the 90’s.
Your voice is incredible. Your music is always so inspiring and has helped me through some very difficult times.

I love your music. I am having a big argument with my 17 year old daughter regarding the lyrics to Kiss From A Rose. Please, if you would be so kind, end this argument. Are the correct lyrics “kiss from a rose on the GREY….a light hits the bloom on the GREY?” or “kiss from a rose on the GRAVE…a light hits the bloom on the GRAVE?” Some lyrics sights say grey and others say grave. I would really appreciate it if you could clear up this matter. Thank you ever so much –

My addiction, my highest music high…The more I listen, the more I adore it…The way you used natural element (ex: water waves, thunder) with the up beat. And Rolling, is celestial…Even Amazing (which didn’t amaze me at first)…is amazing in the opposite versions (en bémol et dièse) is getting into my brain…which can get bored too easily…(hard to be me)

A superb effort with this new album, my friend. I’ve been a hardcore fan since I was 9 (in 1994 when I saw Prayer For The Dying video) and System has reinvigorated my love for your music. You just sound so fulfilled and happy on the record which is what makes it so great to listen to. Seems like the kind of album you’ve been trying to make for many years. It’s all definitely quintessential Seal.
Though one song in particular, “Rolling” impacted me tremendously. Listening to the song I wanted to cry, but I laughed instead because damn near every word described exactly what I’m going through now and really gave me impetus to hold onto that hope I had been reaching for.
Your music always comes at the right time in my life with messages I need hear. Thank you for making music and please never stop.

Dear SEAL, this album is amazing. Yes, I’m addicted to your music. I heard “Amazing” the first time november 2005 when you came to Switzerland. At that time it was just a preview on your new album (I’ve been waiting almost too long for it)and the lyrics where little different.
I also felt in love with “Loaded” and “Dumb” which I didn’t like at first. But that’s SEAL: You realize after listning severel times the treasure of each song – and then it stays with you forever. True!
Seal, I thing that Your New Album is a Great Album, is fantastic, but, Really, I miss your True Style of Music.

I love the new album and so does my 22 month old son !!! He dances in his car seat to Amazing and Wedding DAy and when the song ends he says ‘another’ and I have to play it again !!! When will you be in New York or New Jersey?

Hey, Sealhenry – System is another impressive addition to your work; but as a contemporary of yours who has heard a ton of music in over 40 years, I must say 2 things: one, rumor has it that you don’t plan to perform the unadulterated version of “Amazing” on tour, instead opting for the ‘Thin White Duke’ remix – with all due respect, that version isn’t bad, but it just isn’t AMAZING – please reconsider this decision, as well as…..
Second, while “The Right Life” is another good Seal number, it simply doesn’t compare to the “System” title track, which is among the very best, if not THE best, songs you’ve ever recorded – while it may be risky, I believe that the second single should be “Wedding Day”, followed by “System” and including an extended version which retains Eric’s guitar but adds more dramatic elements, similar to “Cuddly Toy (Feel For Me)” by Roachford – I have some ideas of my own about exactly how to do it – and then possibly release “The Right Life” as a single or another dance track…..please give these suggestions some thought. Thanks
