It’s been a long time since we last spoke. Please understand that it isn’t through choice. The new single ‘Amazing’ is now available on ‘iTunes’ as a download. There are two versions, the ‘Thin White Duke’ edit is my personal fav and the one that I will be performing to in the future given the choice. The album drops Nov 13th and is called ‘SYSTEM’. There are new and exciting updates coming to the site so please bare with me. I’m interested to hear your comment on the single so please feel free to fire away.

I just wanted to say thank-you for providing the soundtrack to my wedding last Saturday. My bride and her pageboys and bridesmaids entered to Future Love Paradise, we signed the registry to Waiting For You and then we left the service to Kiss From A Rose. Neither of us could think of any other artist who could set the mood so perfectly for such an important occasion for us.

I feel sympathy very much that on Your concert which in Warsaw 18 October will not be the normal sale of tickets only some drawing lotses at the operator of the cellular net. The music which you create is uncommon in every respect.Similarly she is unfortunately with Your plates , last which I bought – concert- from Paris, I bought in Barcelona. Thanks to this cd already I know why performers with pleasure sing Your covers – are You GREAT! What kind of studio microphone do you use? What type of live microphone do you use?
I do like ‘Amazing’ but it took a couple of listens. I really liked being able to see the lyrics in the graphics as I know you don’t usually like to do that as you want us to hear what ever we think it is saying and get our own meaning out of the song. Thanks for sharing. I got really excited when listening to it though as I cannot wait to buy and hear the album. Love to Seal (the man with the ‘Amazing’ soul). Tracyxxx

Appreciate the updates and links Seal! Agree with you…. the “Thin White Duke” edit of Amazing is more enjoyable. Actually, I kinda prefer the slower version that was sent to me by (someone?) taken from a live show a while back, so this faster one takes some getting used to.
I’m happy for your happiness, so well deserved, but gotta admit I’m a little apprehensive at the prospect of a “dance” album. “Amazing” is not a very umm, “layered” song, and I don’t want to get burnt out on it….time will tell. I think it will be a great one to watch you perform live however!
We just drove from Ohio to Florida and heard it played about 3 times on Sirius satellite radio! They also mentioned your stint on “Dancing with the Stars” and the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show to air at a later date. GOOD PR!!!

Just saw you and Heidi on Oprah, and the show was so emotional. You two are wonderful together and I am so glad that you got to meet a member of your foster family after 40 years. It was very touching to see the tears…you have a wonderful woman to find those special things and moments…no wonder you call her a treasure!

I am, and have been a huge fan since your first album when you had hair. I am saddened that your third album never really received the play nor the acclaim that it deserved. I thoroughly enjoyed it when it came out, and glad you included some of the tracks on the “Best Of” disc. I am actually a childhood friend of your keyboardist (former?) Derron “DJ” Johnson. When and if you see him, please tell him Wass says high. DJ is amazingly talented, and a great guy. I actually saw him snap his lower leg in a high school football game from the sideline. Good old days!!! I have been fortunate enough to see you play a few times, and actually went backstage to catch up with DJ when you played the Hollywood Bowl a few years ago. On a different note, one of my very good friends, by the name of Billy Ray, wrote and directed the film Breach. I’ll be sure to bust his chops and pass along your critique of his film!!! I’m looking forward to the new disc. Continued success to you, and allow me to wish you and your family good health.

I have been a big fan of yours since I was a teenager (now 35) your music has helped me through some of the darker times in my life and also been present at the happier times, having listened briefly to some of your new music I can tell the album will be worth the waiting, one request I do have is tour information….when do we get to see you perform live?

Man, I listened to System on Rhapsody last night and my goodness. It’s worth the wait. I consider myself a huge Seal fan…but I remember when IV came out. I skipped through the CD trying to find a track that grabbed me (i.e. My Vision, Waiting For You, & Heavenly) and it took me a while to warm up to the other songs. But with System, they all captivated me from the start. I love the way “If it’s on my Mind….” starts. And Rolling can touch your soul.
I think this a good way to describe Seal’s music. S. Kubrick was a legend for the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey. The reason that makes it special is because it has a different meaning to everyone who watches it. I think the same can be made for Seal’s music. While we enjoy the songs — the music and message may touch us a different way. For example, Newborn Friend may not be on the top of everyone’s list. However it helped me learn to love myself and realize that I am indeed someone. Deep Water…I can’t describe how that changed me in the way I look at things.
Rock on Seal. You made a song called ‘Don’t Make Me Wait’. Don’t make us wait too long for System II.

I have to admit that I was a bit worried about this album when I heard that a different producer was going to work on it. I thought it might lose that (Seal Sound) if you know what I mean!! But It is pure class (The Right Life, Its on my mind, wedding day and Rolling) are excellent. The whole album is like one big song. Please dont let it be as long if possible for you next offering. But I do understand it takes you time to paint such a masterpiece!!!

It is very interesting to see that so many people LOVE your lyrics even when they don’t have a clue. Maybe that’s why I love music (and movies) -to spread the message. But LOVE and sorrow is spread trough your music and everyone feels it.
If time is the space between me and you, shorty time won’t exist.
It’s AMAZING how most lyrics are talking about me as if you know it, so I know i’m not alone.
