  3. sue says:

oh my!! now the album is going to be delayed What am i goin to buy my son Graham for his 21st birthday ????????this was to be one of his suprises lol :0 no seriously i understand it is frustrating but Seal has to do what is right for him and the record company and if we have to wait so be it…. we wait longer usually so i dont see the problem :) im sure there are good reasons for this. put yourself in seals shoes ….how must he be feeling?i bet he is as dissapointed as us. it cant be easy for him either. take care luv sue xx

  4. Ian Bishop says:

Hmmmmm, okay. My understanding was that Seal said he would look for the completed togetherland tracks, and post them if and when he found them . . . . as he is touring at the moment, I would say there is more chance that we will see bits of the new songs before anything else. I get the feeling that if it were up to Seal, the album would be out asap, but even once an album is recorded, there is tweaking and re-editing of tracks, promotion strategy etc all to come. Bearing in mind that he has stated that he will be trying out some of these songs during the short 2007 tour, I guess there is a chance some of these tracks be altered based on crowd reaction, something that David Bowie was very prone to amongst others.

    EEEEEEkkkkkkkkk..

we need some PEST spray around here..

The tiresome discussion about Togtherland for the zillionth time is getting SO OLD.

    SEAL..

Do whatever you want with that music…I RESPECT the fact that YOU are not sure about releasing it ever..this is YOUR CHOICE, and quite frankly I am so tired about this subject constantly being brought up by a “rude and forceful” person…
    (your words Deef, not mine.)

You say you love Seal so much..then show it and leave him be with this.

    SHHEEESHHHH!!!

    Laura

  6. Janet says:

Messages have been sent to both Charles and Michael to review the situation.

    Peace, Janet

  7. Beth says:

It’s great to hear about the european concerts :) glad that all of you got to experience the same thing we did over here in the U.S.!!!
As for the other debate around here..enough is enough…quit bugging the man about “Togetherland” If he wants to release some of it then he will…but remember that to begin with he didnt like how it came out so thats why he scrapped it…also he’s pretty darn busy right now with the tour and traveling Im guessing…it’s HIS music not YOURS so leave him be about it :/ …geesh…..
Seal..whatever you decide to do with it is fine by me.(not that my opinion really matters LOL)..you have your reasons for not putting it out there and I totally respect that also…
So can we all just give it a break for awhile??? It’s starting to sound like a little kid thats not getting their way and pouting, having hissy fits making everyone else miserable not wanting to listen to it anymore….

  8. NxSG says:

oh people, Togetherland must be streamed for Seal’s fans, if not – we will get the chance to buy it (who knows – all the mistery about this album could be a very good marketing strategy). I mean every fan knows and talks about this album for years, everybody is ready to spend more money than regullar for these tracks!

Hope Seal will decide to stream it.

    a-chill

  9. Deef says:

    “rude and forceful” person…
    (your words Deef, not mine.)

    No no, Sue’s words remember???

Let’s go TOGETHERLAND!!!!!! You all wait and see, it’ll be all that and then some, promise!!!!!!!!

  10. MrDexterm says:

hm.. what to say what to say.. um..

    SEAL YOUR THE BEST!

  11. Beth says:

Please dont get me wrong…I’d LOVE to hear Togetherland also…but the constant asking..almost seems like badgering of Seal to have him put this on the blog is starting to get old. and it seems to offend some folks aorund here..if he want us to hear it we will..if he doesn’t then ..oh well we dont get to hear it…I hope he does..but Im not going to pester him about it… and we’re all entitled to our opinions and as adults we can agree to disagree on subjects..(((((group hug))))) AND why dont we just wait for Seal himself (or Charles) to tell us when exactly the new album is coming out…it would be a bummer if summer 08 is true…but I’m still going by what he said in an earlier blog about the release date…there’s always hope!!!LOL
    Peace

  12. Janet says:

Ok, this is the answer to whether, or not, post the Togetherland tracks: From Charles *Quote*: “I’m not sure if legally seal can post the tracks. So it is being held up for legal purposes.”

There you have it…let’s move on to other topics.

    Love and Patience, Janet

  13. Deef says:

Hmmmm…if that were truly the case then, why didn’t Seal just state that months ago??? He’s been making message postings all this time, he couldn’t spare just one sentence to mention that???

    Nah, I don’t buy it.

  14. Ian Bishop says:

The summer 08 date came from Seal himselfat the concert in London, although here’s hoping that it gets put forward from then!

    CAN’T WAIT!!!

  15. MarieChantale says:

I used to be a big fan of Seal…as a person and as a signer. NOw it`s only as a signer. It pains me to write this…..
I think the fan Janet is too good for him, and I don`t understand why she defends him all the time. I dont`think she even gets paid for this…Respect is earned from fans…the way he handled the crisis on the postings…was…foreceful and scary…where is the love…i don`t feel it. All I see is: games with dates for release of records, and broken promises and…yes…lòt`s of products promoted for selling. Beyond disappointed…that`s what too much money will do for an artist…maybe!I am sorry if I offend some fans I am NOT attacking Seal or anyone, just stating an opinion, hope it`s still allowed to be honest on this blog. I will not write anymore anyway, I am loosing interest in Seal in general…how he brags about everything without respect for fans of smaller means (I am not one of them but still…I can put myself in the shoes of a person who struggles financiailly because i have been poorer in my life).Love and peace on this site!wishful thinkinig?

Silvia, I am so happy for you:O) You have worked hard, and you deserve all the best. Much love is sent to you!

Hi Marie-Chantale, all I can say is that I love the people I have met on this site.

I was sent an email asking me to moderate, and I said that I would be honored to do so… pending official word, I will continue to do my best.

When I help? it is out of love for my friends.

    Peace, Janet

    Hi Sealhenry,
I hope you get the time to read this, I’ve been a huge fan forever. I actually met you for a moment or two at the party held by Lorraine Scwartz at the Monkey Bar in Midtown Manhattan this past June. I was working at the front desk of the hotel and couldn’t resist having a word. Hope I didn’t interrupt, but you’re the only celebrity that I would have hoped to walk into the lobby and what a surprise it was. I just want to thank you so much for your efforts, and can’t wait to see what’s next. Your music/art is without limit and makes a mockery of all that’s mainstream – I wish more people knew your affect, on an individual level as well as the level of musical evolution. It’s a beautiful thing you do, and all I can do is wait. I wish you and the family the best. If you ever need a hand in NYC, I’d love to work for you…? Take care and thanks again. -Jud.

    Dearest Seal,

I was just diagnosed with cancer and although I have heard your music, more specifically “I’m Alive” for years, it has a whole new meaning for me. Wasn’t sure if that was you’re intent, but you always said that your lyrics were open to interpretation.

p.s I met David Sancious at one of your concerts. Apparently just missed you. Maybe another time.

    Hellow Seal,
I recently purched your DVD Seal Live In Paris. The body of music continues to provide peace and previous memories of concerts, that i have attended in the Chicago land area.I personnally beleive that you are a giant in the music industry.Lyricly speaking your misic is ground breaking and provides a passionate view to humanity.I’m sure you are aware of the lives that you touch through your misic.I work in the human service field and i was visiting one of my clients and was surprized when i entered his room and he was listening to your CDs.This gentleman was mentlely ill, but was singing your music with such passion and understanding. It’s such a blessing form god for him to use you as a vessle to provide so much comfort to so many people.I am consistantly inspired when listening to your music and this is something i wrote to my wife recently while listening to your music. The commitment of a bond so honest and essential for the quality of my life has been renued.I find peace with my wife a journey that is predestant with joy and happiness.I review our moments and observe our potential as one.I find comfort in walking the daily steps that will define our life together.I move with strength and self assurance, for their is value to the vision of two.No mountain of obstacles, nor chance occurance shall deture us from our path. The simple pleasures in life, brings about a new perspective in true love and the existance of life. The beautiful walks on the beach or pulling you close at night ,are the submisissings of emotinons, that i long for in the course of the day.I ponder about the future, but instantly remove all doubt once i see your face.Your presence provides hope and a true friend in life.I asked the father for you and you are the light shinning in my heart.Well, i have to go because i am at work.I look forward to observing your travels threw you pictures. If you have the time let me know how your tour is progressing.

You are truly amazing Seal! The reason I came to your site this morning to be perfectly honest, is because I woke up this morning and pondered the idea of engaging your potential interest for my new social networking site project “Blackworld.com” like facebook. Then I heard your new single “Amazing” which is indeed truly amazing. I’m sitting here in my Bristol pad thinking how you might not know this, but your music just like Sade is for me, deeply spiritual and so fundamentally meaningful to alot of things happening on mother earth. The other thing is seal, I got into the internet business partly because I read a magazine comment you made way back in 1995 about how the internet will become very influential in our lives. Those brief comments from your foresight greatly inspired me and I’m hoping to do wonderful things online going forward. Thanks so much for the beautiful music you make and touching our lives spiritually. It’s not appropriate to express my initial intention here, but kindly contact me at robert@blackworld.com when you have a spare moment or two. Best with your latest single and I can’t wait to hear the entire System Album. Cheers Mate!

Speaking of rocker/racers, if you’ve had the opportunity to see Nick Mason and David Gilmour in La Carrerre Panamerica, it is a fun ride! Mason races and it’s all set to Floyd music. Don’t know if it’s still available…I have VHS from ‘93. S…I teach ballroom in Kentucky. I wanted to let you know “Kiss from a Rose” and “Just Like You Said” are excellent Viennese Waltzes; I’ve used them for a few routines.

    Blessings,

    Chip
