I have two little girls age 5 & 2, I’ve been separated from my husband since last March and now have found that my father has terminal cancer. Maybe it has and I am just unaware. SOMEBODY, please, post a response echoing my plea for this album to be rereleased in Deluxe 5.1, like all of Seal’s other albums. I think Humans Being is his best album. Don’t you (fellow bloggers) agree?

I’ve tripped across your blog surfing around this evening, and I have to say thank you for doing this, I’m so delighted. I LOVE that you post clips of the music you are working on. I haven’t heard any news of you since Seal IV came out. I hope you are doing a new album soon.
I met your music many years ago, it captured me at the first and I fell in love with it. I still can’t hear the song Crazy without turning up the volume and getting lost in it. I remember all those years ago, I would just close my eyes dancing to it and spin. Your music feels like an old friend to me. It’s been a part of the soundtrack to many private joys and sorrows of my life. We drive together sometimes, late at night when the world is quiet. Those are good conversations.
Dreaming Metaphors is on my list of the most beautiful songs of all time. I love all music, so that list is serious business. Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you for all the music over the years, and thank you for sharing yourself on this blog. It’s wonderful. I see you will be in NY in May, I will have to come. It has been years since Seal made it to Dallas. I went to see him at the Bronco Bowl for the release of Human being just to give you an idea. I have been a big fan fo many years. Seal, just discovered your blog… looks like I’m late to the party! A few words of thanks… first, thanks for making it back to Dallas, and thanks for the small-ish venue. The last time you were here, I brought my daughter and her friend (they were about 9 then). A security guy put 2 chairs against the stage, broght them down and let them stand. You came over, held their hands and sang to them. Their eyes were as big as saucers… and mine were too. Thanks for the great memory.
About a month ago, I went on my customary Guadalajara trip. I went to a club down there and while they mostly played latin/techno music, the guy put a spin on it. He played My Vision and then Excerpt From. I was amazed at how many people were “lip synching” the words to Excerpt From…especially the women.
Also a popular song down there is Prayer for the Dying. I hear it a lot in offices and places of business.

MyBabysMummy…it’s very unfortunate but racism is still alive and well in this country and others some people just cant get over the fact that people from different races do actually love each other and form relationships!!!..I myself get stares/dirty looks etc at times when Im with my hubby…he’s black(6’4″) and Im white(5’1″) and sometimes we get nasty comments,but we go on living our lives the way we want together…and as for that website..they should be deleting those types of posts that are filled with nothing but hatred and racism…

Purchased my tickets for the Dallas show. I am so glad they had the pre-sale. I was able to get around 18th row which should be pretty close. I am now wondering if there will be an opportunity for us to have a “meet and greet” with Seal prior to or after the show. That would make this the greatest day ever. Laura.. I don’t book any tour dates it’s all done through Seal’s manager. And I have no idea how it’s done. Probably a combination of schedule, when venues are available and how many people want to attend. But I am just guessing that part.

Arrggghh, still no Cleveland or Columbus?!?! No Seal this summer, no Chris Isaak…..(sigh) I think I am going to move somewhere else! The Rock n Roll Hall of Fame city just doesn’t bring artists in like it used to.
I’m very sad….
