Hey Guys,
I am so sorry that I’ve been vacant for the past 2-3 weeks or so. Getting back into the grind of things here in LA has been all consuming. The wife and kids are in Germany and this has left me with my main focus being directed towards finishing my record. It is shaping up and so far I can tell you that it will be a dance record or at least the grooviest to date. There’s so much going on at the moment with a lot of changes occurring that it has been difficult to find the time to submit an in-depth ‘Seal Report’, however I will most likely find some time this weekend when I play in Phoenix. I apologize for not being able to answer your questions in my usual fashion but rest assured, I will give a more comprehensive account of what’s been going on professionally when I get a moment. Oh, Btw, the picture of the guitarist is Eric in the studio playing on ‘Swoosh!’ which is one of the songs on the album.
Speak soon,
S

Seal, you don’t need to feel sorry!!!! I wish you would’ve come to India for a performance!!
Wishes….
radha!
Hello S….as a huge fan, I can appreciate the complexity of your life,so to speak. No need to apologize! Work is work. Glad that you, HK and your children are safe and well. We are spoiled as you keep us so informed, and miss you when we don’t hear from for awhile. I can’t speak for everyone that responds, but I’m sure most share the same opinion. Be well!
I like the title “Swoosh”…cool! Janet likes dance mixes:O) Good luck with the album! Peace, Janet
HI!! So glad to hear from you again, but I am with sea to sky, I understand how hectic 2 busy careers and 3 small kids can make for a hectic life! And yes, we do miss you when you are gone
Thanks for letting us know how the album is shaping up. I like the title “Swoosh” too – sounds fun! My daughter and I love to dance to Get it Together and My Vision. Lily (my little one) is relentless – she makes me dance till we collapse! So we will enjoy listening to your new material. I had better start training now….
I hope u won’t be spending Valentines Day away from your sweeties. And of course there’s a birthday approaching
. Don’t worry, it’s not so bad on the “other side” of those evil numbers.
Take care, enjoy your productive time and we look forward to the next Seal Report from LA.
Hi Seal, Great to hear from you. I figured you were busy trying to get the album ready. From what I’ve heard about you over the years..it doesnt get to the public until it feels right.. We put “A Fathers Way “on our ipods and are hoping for another song perhaps before the CD release. We intend to buy the whole CD of course but this gives us something new from you until then. Cynthia Hill and Family
Greetings Seal..
Dean and I were reading earlier today. He was THRILLED to see the picture of Eric too! He knows the band from your DVD’s that we watch all the time…
We just had a house fire and lost alot of our music ( we have one CD left..that was in my car..) but NOT the DVD’s…we have Live at the Point, Live in Paris and One NIght to Remember…
You have brought us all comfort during this crazy time…so THANKS again..
I am LOVING the idea of dance music…
Rock on F.O.T. (father of three! )
Love
Laura and Dean
Cheers Mate,
Love & Peace…
Hooray! Your Back!!! We can’t imagine what keeps you so busy!Ha Ha! You truly have spoiled us and we really love you for it! We hope that you and yours are happy and well! Can’t wait for the CD…We are very excited and are praying that you come South…Atlanta or Birmingham. I told my 11 yr. old son, Brooks that I would take him to your concert if you came South. We have our fingers crossed! He is going this Spring to his very first concert…The Fray…his second favorite next to you. He says you should check them out. Jackson, age 7, also wants to know if your family has any pets? We look forward to hearing from you again!
Be Happy and Stay Safe!!!
Much Love from LucyMucy, Brooks, Jackson & family!
We’re just glad you’re here! And that you take the time for us. Thanks for that. Speaking of pets, dog person, cat person or both?? Lots of love to you, Allyson
please dont apologise.. everyone of us knows how busy you are. and lets be honest i cant wait for the album !! love to you heidi and the kids. take care luv sue xx
Laura, so sorry to hear about your house fire. Wow! I hope everyone is o.k. and that you get the help you need in dealing with the aftermath.
Seal, I just read about the event you attended last night honoring Don Henley as MusiCares Person of the Year. Wow, you even performed “Best of my Love” – must have been a great evening. Don Henley has always been one of my rock heroes. Love his music and his activism. “Dirty Laundry” is such a great song, and has even more significance in today’s world of 24/7 “news” about things we don’t need to know.
I hope you enjoyed the evening, and congrats on helping to raise so much money for MusiCares!
Hey, Seal!
What about this new album?!
I can´t wait to have it!
Surely it´ll be wonderful – as the others.
Hope to see you singing here (Brazil).
God bless you!
PS.: “A father´s way” is sooooo beautiful!
=P

Lots of love to you,HK and the kids.(I am looking forward to the new season of project runway)!!God Bless!

Maaan, you are greaaaat! I always loved your music…I wrote a dance song for you and done a rough vocal guide to it…Your voice was the inspiration behind it…if you would sing it I KNOW it will be huge! I would like to send this track to you…of course if I am not asking too much! Thank you and have a great time….Maaan I love your music, some of the songs make me feel sad but great at the same time…no other music moves me like yours…I guess you’re a very deep person…
Hello Seal. I am new to your blog but not to your music. It is tender, warm, life affirming, sensual and full of hope. In other words, wonderful! I would very much like to work with you and write some songs. I am a musician and writer. If you are so inclined, let me know and we’ll perhaps have a chance to chat and maybe even make some music together.
peace

Seal, I am very very excited that you are working on a new album!!! I’m sure I will be one of the first in line to make this album part of my “Seal” collection
) I must also say that I love the phrasing/structure of your songs as it has inspired me as a musician. I would love to perform with you some day.
Peace,
Mike G

Thanks for the update. Your absence is excused when it comes to working on the new album! A dance album sounds fantastic. Should make the live shows more lively. I love your slow songs, no doubt, but it’s aggravating when the tempo changes from fast to slow and everyone sits down. Us die-hard fans want to boogie!!
P.S. Looking good on the Grammys! Nice job up there with Mr. Bacharach.
Lookin’ fly on the Grammys!
Peace – Love
Woo hoo.. loved the jacket on you at the Grammys!
Hope you had a great time! Hmm any stories to share? I enjoyed your stories when you saw Babs in concert..was wondering if you met anyone at the Grammys that awed you
